Riach contracting can supply and install the full range of equipment for de-watering where there is contaminated ground water including mobile separators, settlement tanks, skimmer pumps and pipe work.

Mobile Separators
If contaminated water is encountered on a site Riach contracting can quickly respond with mobile separators. The separators will process 8 – 15 cubic meters per hour, retaining the contaminant and delivering water suitable for discharge to foul sewer. Therefore there is no requirement to tanker away and dispose of the contaminated water as waste – a very costly exercise.

The adjacent picture shows a recent contract set up at the Upper Forth Crossing at Kincardine to pump out and separate contaminated water from a newly dug excavation.

Pressure washer
Riach contracting has available for hire a high pressure mobile jetting unit. This equipment can be used for conventional cleaning and industrial purposes or in instances when an emergency response is required. The high pressure mobile jetting unit can also be used for high-pressure drain cleaning and unblocking.
 
The jet washer has recently been on hire to the St Andrews Aquarium to jet wash the seal pools.
The pressure washer delivers 3000psi and can be supplied with its own mobile water reservoir or ready for connection to site water.
