The Riach Farming Philosophy:
![]() As one of Scotland's family farms we aim to promote the highest standards of food production, to encourage people to choose locally produced Scottish food, to conserve the countryside and to promote healthy eating.
Traditional Attitudes
We use sustainable low intensity farming methods and have a traditional attitude to sympathetic animal husbandry. High Quality
Our small scale independent production of high quality local food allows us to breed and produce small numbers of high quality animals. Low Stress Small scale independent production and traditional animal husbandry means that each animal enjoys a high quality of life. Raised on our own farm the distance the animal has to travel during its entire life is minimal. | ||
